Many people were injured in a fire in a container building in a school in Fürth, Franconia. "There were a number of injured students," said a police spokesman. "Many had to be hospitalized for smoke poisoning."
The fire that broke out in the morning has since been extinguished. There was a lot of smoke, so the whole building had to be cleared. The exact number of injured and the cause of the fire are so far unclear.
The flames broke out in a toilet on the first floor of the container building. In the alternative quarter, vocational and elementary school students were taught.
