Egypt unveiled three burial wells, each of which lead to rock-cut tombs, with many mummies of Greek origin dating back more than 2,000 years (323 to 30 BC), at the archaeological site of Touna al-Jabal, The country.

The number of mummies is about 40 mummies, more than 2,000 years old but "in good condition," the French newspaper Le Figaro quoted the Egyptian Ministry of Antiquities as saying.

According to the ministry, the graves are made up of a number of burial chambers inside a large number of mummies for people in different stages of the age "in good condition" of preservation, including mummies for children, some wrapped in linen rolls, and others are written in the line Aldemotiqi, In addition to a number of other mummies for men and women, while others have demotic writings under the feet.

For its part, Le Figaro published a collection of photographs of a number of these mummies.
