A 26-year-old man died in the night from Saturday to Sunday after being stabbed several times in Die (Drôme), probably as part of a brawl, according to concordant sources.
According to the first elements of the investigation, the victim was allegedly "stabbed five times" as part of a brawl, before succumbing to his wounds in the hospital, said the prosecutor's office in Valencia, confirming information local media.
A suspect in custody
An alleged perpetrator was arrested in Die and taken into custody, but the circumstances remain to be determined, said the same source.
Firefighters were called to the premises, a supermarket parking around 22:40, but the victim had already been transported to the hospital of Die by relatives when they arrived, said the emergency services.
