He expressed his admiration for artists who refused to participate in the competition.
“In my opinion, both KAZKA and Maruv were very strong challengers. They do not compromise with the authorities. Music is music. They all choose freedom, because in order for a creative person to remain on the rise, he must be free at all times and in all countries regardless of the political system, ”added the composer.
Earlier, the KAZKA group, which took the third place in the national selection for Eurovision in Ukraine, refused to participate in the song contest, citing the fact that their mission is “to unite people with their music, and not to sow discord”.
