From the observation of the real to the autobiography drawn

This exhibition aims to explore all facets of the artist's universe, and is thus organized in three parts: the observation of reality or the eye of Riad Sattouf on society, youth, as a sociologist ; his graphic art to expose his technical mastery since his early works as the fantastic series Petit Verglas ; and finally the autobiography drawn with The Arab of the Future , where he recounts the memories of his childhood, between East and West.

After Art Spiegelman (2011), Claire Brétécher (2015), and André Franquin (2016), Riad Sattouf is the fourth comic book author whose work is exhibited at the Center Pompidou Public Information Library.
