US police have found more than 60 fetuses in a funeral home in the city of Detroit, according to media reports. During the search of the Perry Funeral Home, the remains of 36 fetuses in crates and 27 others in refrigerators were discovered on Friday, police chief James Craig said on Sunday. "That's unbelievable," quoted the newspaper "Detroit News" the official.

Michigan state authorities have withdrawn permission from the funeral home for the time being. A week earlier, investigators had found ten fetuses in another funeral home in the city behind a ceiling panel. The police are continuing their investigation, Craig said. It was unclear whether financial machinations were behind it.

Investigations centered on possibly unfilled death certificates, unsolicited funerals, and unauthorized parental consent to withhold the fetuses. According to the newspaper report, a relative has sued the Perry Funeral Home and other institutes. The accusation is loud to the storage of deaths and live births in the University Hall of Divine without the consent of the parents.
