The deceased fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld was cremated near Paris, in the crematorium of Nanterre. This confirmed a source from his fashion house of the German Press Agency on Friday in Paris. It was "a very private frame" acted.
The Hamburg-born Lagerfeld had died on Tuesday - he was considered the last Parisian fashion czar. For decades, he was creative director of fashion house Chanel. There should not be a public ceremony or tribute.

His ashes should be mixed with those of his mother and a friend who had died 30 years ago, Lagerfeld said. Confirmation was not available.
Jacques de Bascher was Lagerfeld's life companion until his death in 1989. The ashes of the deceased are in a "secret place", Lagerfeld had entrusted to the biographer of Baschers. "One day you will add mine."
