To celebrate her 50th birthday, Jennifer Aniston wanted to fly with friends to the west coast of Mexico. But this was for the time being nothing: Because the private jet of the actress had lost a wheel after the start, the machine had to make an emergency landing. For four hours the pilot flew in a circle to burn enough fuel for a safe stopover.

Aniston's longtime girlfriend, Courteney Cox, was also on board. The 54-year-old has now expressed in the celebrity magazine "Extra" to the incident. "I have absolutely no fear of flying, my dad was a pilot, but I was very scared when we heard a loud bang after the start," said Cox.

"Fortunately," the actress continued, "there were two wheels on each side and two on each side." Afterwards, the girlfriends had been in the air for at least four hours. "We were just thinking about how the landing would be," says Cox. According to the actress, however, the landing was then "smoothly".
