The Emirates Development Group (Horizon) has announced its first investment project in Egypt under the name of City Walk in Alex West, west of Alexandria.

The company said in a press release today that the opening of the project will be in mid-2020.

It is worth mentioning that this project has nothing to do with the City Walk project of Maras Real Estate Development Company, which bears the same name.

In a press release today, Majid Bin Saeed Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Group, said: "City Walk has surprises in design and operation. It will be a unique center. The venue has design, operational and operational components." The project will serve as a model for shopping malls in Egypt.

He said the project is the first level of the Horizon to be reached in the next five years, including the completion of six shopping centers in Al Gouna, the Northern Coast, the New Administrative Capital and Sheikh Zayed City.

"The Alex West project was built on an area of ​​2 and a half million square meters and consists of a range of tourism, service and residential services," said Jamal Marassi, vice chairman and managing director of Barons Court, owner of Alex West. A conference center in West Egypt, and an 18-hole golf course.

He pointed out that there is a service clause in the presence of a sports club, hospitals and international schools. This system is complemented by investment in the commercial and entertainment areas, which started with the commercialization of the City Walk project.

Zarouni pointed out that the new investments will provide more than 5000 jobs directly and indirectly.
