“We want to inform you in advance: if we receive an offer for participation in Eurovision Song Contest 2019, we will reject it,” says a statement published on the group’s Facebook page.
Earlier, the KAZKA group, which took the third place in the national selection for Eurovision in Ukraine, refused to participate in the song contest.
Later, the performer of the role of Verka Serdyuchka, actor Andrei Danilko, in an interview with the TV channel 360, commented on KAZKA’s refusal to participate in Eurovision.
He noted that if everyone now refuses to go to the competition, he will get "his old armor" and "go to save."
On February 25, it became known that the National Public Television of Ukraine and the performer Maruv, who won the national selection, did not agree on participation in the competition.
