A father from Hildesheim in Lower Saxony has run over his six-year-old son after a ski trip in Austria. The boy was flown by helicopter from the Ifen ski area to a hospital in Kempten, Bavaria, the police said. Thus, the condition of the child is stable. There is no danger to life.

According to police, the 42-year-old father had missed his son on Saturday and hit him. The child was overthrown and rolled over. Then the boy was dragged two to three meters under the car.

The father did not notice the misfortune until witnesses made him aware of this with loud shouts and gestures.
