A team of researchers from China and the United States has developed a system that they said could be reliably relied upon to diagnose pediatric and infant diseases using artificial intelligence.

The researchers confirmed that the system proved during a test used data from electronic health files that it provides a better diagnosis than the diagnosis of young doctors who are inexperienced. The researchers, under the supervision of Kang Chang of Guangzhou Medical University of China, announced the results of their study in the journal Nature Medicine.
