A 64-year-old woman died of a heart attack when she arrived in New Zealand to attend the funeral of her son, Kamel Darwish, a victim of the terrorist attack on the Christchurch mosques, the New Zealand Herald newspaper reported.
The newspaper quoted a close family member, that the woman died hours before the funeral, and it seems unbearable grief.
He added that the family was now arranging for the body of the deceased woman to be transferred to Jordan.
Her son Kamel Darwish, 38, has three children and immigrated to New Zealand just six months ago to live with his stable brother.
Prior to his death, Darwish applied for visas for his wife and children to live with him in New Zealand.
