The Ladies Club of Kalba, one of the branches of the Sharjah Ladies Club, organized an initiative with the aim of encouraging non-educated women to learn to read and write and to enhance their abilities and skills in all areas of life.

The initiative, which came in cooperation with the Arts Center in Kalbaa, witnessed the participation of 20 women. They learned through a series of lectures and workshops held over a period of one month, the basics of Arabic language in writing and pronunciation, as well as a set of jurisprudential rulings. "We are committed to the right of everyone to learn, to adhere to the UAE's approach to adult education and to provide the tools of knowledge in all its forms so as to ensure social development with the participation of all segments of society," said Mouza Al-Washahi, Director of Kalba Women's Club.

The initiative witnessed a great deal of interaction among the participating women, who realized the great benefit that they had given them, because they opened the door to literacy, and instilled in them the confidence and enthusiasm to acquire a lot of science and knowledge, which plays a major role in raising the individual's abilities and expanding his awareness of finding solutions to the challenges. Which you may encounter in life.
