A selection of 10 designers from the UAE, Spain and Italy has been selected to participate in the design of the "Dialogue of Crafts" project, which is the result of a creative cultural dialogue in which UAE, Spanish and Italian crafts are combined to offer exclusive pieces of the highest quality and luxury. The project, which was launched by the Council in cooperation with the Creative Dialogue Foundation of Spain, brings together four designers from the UAE, who will work with five designers from Spain and designers from Italy: Fatima Zaabi, Gaya Bin Masmar, Abdullah Al Mulla and Sheikha Bin Dhaher (UAE) ; Laura Blasco, Juanmi Juárez, Alex Estevez, Pepe Riverter and Adrian Salvador (Spain); and Matthew Silverio (Italy).

UAE designer Fatima Zaabi collaborates with Italian designer Matteo Silverio to present the first collection, which combines UAE pottery with Italian Murano glass, while Gaya Bin Mesmar and Mirmelaada Studio offer handcrafts combining the traditional UAE traditional Tali and Serefia in the second set.

The third group consists of pieces of art and pottery collected by Bipa Riverer and Abdullah Al Mulla. The fourth group is an innovative work in which the Spanish skin is intertwined with the Emirati tulle beads created by Sheikha Ben Dhaher and Adrian Salvador Candela.

The council organized a series of informational and field visits to the designers participating in the project. The city of Dibba Al Hosn was the first destination in Sharjah. They visited the Badwa Social Development Program and learned about its projects and initiatives. The designers also visited local pottery factories, the Malia Center for Antiquities and the Sharjah Art Foundation.

The project team organized a brainstorming session that saw the exchange of creative ideas and innovative designs.
