Manfred de Graaf, better known as doctor Hans Lansberg from the comedy series Zeg 'ns Aaa died on Tuesday in his hometown Warmond.
His daughter Fien Derman confirmed this in an interview with De Telegraaf . De Graaf has turned 79. He had been incurably ill for some time.
According to his family, the actor had been ill since the beginning of this year. Then cancer was diagnosed with him, in such an advanced stage that nothing could be done about it. De Graaf chose not to publish that news at the time.
De Graaf was best known for his role in Zeg 'ns Aaa . The extremely popular sitcom experienced more than two hundred episodes at VARA between 1981 and 1993. In the series De Graaf played the husband of general practitioner Lydie van der Ploeg. This last role was played by Sjoukje Hooijmaaijer, she died in September of the consequences of cancer.
De Graaf also played in, among other things, Turkish Fruit , Diary of a Sheepdog and Good Times, Bad Times . De Graaf was also a celebrated actor. He played with De Haagsche Comedie and Rotterdams Toneel. His last performance on stage was the theater version of Zeg 'ns Aaa in 2003.
