"The Union lives in my soul and in my heart, and the most precious thing in my existence." This and other words of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, were written by calligraphers from the UAE and the Arab world. At Bayat Gallery in Dubai, the day before yesterday. The paintings in the exhibition carried a variety of Arabic fonts, while the texts in the paintings took many geometrical forms, which occupied the paper areas in circular shapes in different times, and in oval or geometric shapes at the other time.

The exhibition used the classical schools known in Arabic calligraphy, and the decoration that supported the line to provide an additional aesthetic dimension was essential in most paintings. In addition to pluralism in the form, there is a pluralism in the colors used in writing, especially in the Emirates, where green, red and black were integrated into a work by dividing the text according to the formal structure and colors adopted.

One of the texts found in the paintings, «taught us that the Sahara patience for a long time to grow good, and we must be patient and continue the process of construction in order to achieve the good of our country», and presented by the calligrapher Ahmed Al-Hawari in the Thulth line clear. The Emirati calligrapher Khalid Al-Jallaf presented the text of the Kufi Sinbili with the text: "The parents are the first generations who, without their skin, would not have been able to live on this land, which we enjoy today." These texts are part of the statements made on the paintings, which were touching the various aspects of life and the state, and reflect the views of the late in various fields of life and politics, there were statements about the men who make the homeland, and statements about women, as well as States and progress and civilizations.

The writer and founder of Bayat Gallery, Mohammed Al Murr, said in his speech to «Emirates Today»: «The words of Sheikh Zayed is supposed to illuminate the generations in all years, and this year in particular, by virtue of celebrating the centenary of the leader, it was important to provide these words wise and civilization, And inspired by artists in paintings using the best types of fonts and decorations ». He added: "The art of calligraphy is one of the most important Arab and Islamic arts. It has been used during the years to decorate mosques, palaces and manuscripts. It has been written by the Qur'anic verses and the Prophet's Hadiths, and this art should be used to commemorate the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan." It is a part of the various forms of art presented by the gallery. It is popular because it is linked to the heritage, culture and literature of the Arab Islamic nation, and hopes that this interest will increase with the media education and clarification of the importance of calligraphy.

"The number of works in the exhibition is 17, while the lines between the thuluth line, the ice, , The Investigator, the Nisbury, the Cove, and the Cobby. He pointed out that the paintings in the exhibition, built in such a way that highlights the important word in the statement chosen, to mediate the painting this word, while completing the form of the rest of the painting through the statement is integrated, noting that the gallery asked the artists to provide these works.

On the preparation of the exhibition, Firas said that the idea had been crystallized since the announcement of the "Year of Zayed". An idea was sought to refer to what Sheikh Zayed said. There was a kind of highlighting of words. Firas called the calligraphy the culture of Islamic art, Islam has deprived the image and photography, and creativity in the line and architecture, but in the present time there is no light on what has been presented in this area since ancient times, praising the role of the UAE in this regard, Especially in this exhibition, to present the judgment of the late as a visual and intellectual culture at the same time.

The Emirati calligrapher Mohamed Mundi participated in the exhibition in two paintings. He pointed out that he selected the texts that reflect the culture of Sheikh Zayed. He chose an article about the union. In the second work, he said: "Men, not money, are our true wealth." Mundi confirmed that he had chosen the texts after he sailed very much in the words of the founding leader, and that he had already given 30 speeches to Sheikh Zayed in the park «Umm the Emirates». The Emirati calligrapher is based on the geometrical form in which he can present the pillars of the house. The painting in which he talks about the union represents the elements of the house. The decoration was considered Mandy elements that add beauty to the same word, noting that it reduces the use when the letters intertwined with each other. He felt that the artist should provide what expresses his homeland during his artistic career, pointing out that the artist lives a body for his homeland and embodied himself.
