She is a woman who does not pass unnoticed. A woman who knows her choices, her mark and her distinctive laugh. Her gaze frees her, and she expresses in her soul a loud voice. She is a young woman but mature. She is the Thirtian woman. Name: Paul. Fame: Ka. She thinks only of what the future holds for her, and remains certain of his brilliance. She is the one who writes the lines of her story. Do not waste a moment of her happy life full of activity and elegance. She wears what she likes to satisfy herself and satisfy others. Audrey Hepburn's words are often echoed: "Elegance is the only beauty that can not be lost."

From studio 54

The founder and director of the house, Serge Kajfinger, created the Spring / Summer 2019 Group to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the founding of Paule Ka, which is a tribute to the women described above: "Inspired by the age of 30. I see it as a poem seeking love, And the joy of life. I enjoyed a lot of recreating the festive atmosphere that prevailed in the studios of Studio 54 in New York, Lou Palace and Ban Duch in Paris. I have added to the group my favorite Greek graphic style, without forgetting the feminine looks that permeate the masculine touch or the short black dress that must be acquired. " In addition, the English photographer Charlotte Wells, who filmed this collection, is famous for the feminine and modern images that adorn the pages of the most important magazines such as Bob, Diezd, and the French and British versions of Vogue. The house was used by the famous Czech model and actress Carolina Korkova to represent the woman Paule Ka and the joy of living.

This collection is also a summary of what the spirit of the house has been since its opening in 1988, when Serge Kajffinger founded his own brand of high-end garments. He was named Paule after his aunt and Ka, who derives from his fame Kajfinger.

The era of Giscard / Nixon and Emmanuel

After spending part of his childhood with his family in Brazil, Serge Kajffinger opened a store with several brands in his native city of Lille in 1974 when he was 19 years old. We are talking here of an era in which Giscard established his position at the top, Nixon on the red carpet, and occupied the film Emmanuel Silver screen. The store featured the most famous epochs from Yves Saint Laurent, Kenzo, Mugler and Montana. "I learned alot. I was directly following the cries of the red carpet and even the way I wear clothes on a daily basis. I loved coordinating the clothes of different marks and changing the original look. "

After a short stay in Brazil, Serge chose to launch his own brand in 1988 in Paris and rented a small shop on Malier Street a stone's throw from Fugue Square from an acquaintance: Bernard Zines, the king of the pants industry.

The first decade was the hardest: "I worked day and night. I had to stay practically behind my big ambitions and make reckless decisions. I also found that working in the market is completely different from the red carpet, I had to satisfy the requirements of customers at any cost.

24 hours in the life of a woman

The designer invented clothes that fit different times in women's day, and we recall from the classic fashion that became a symbol of his trademark short black dress, sometimes the story of Tarabiz and developed a story more poetic but different features complement the piece. They are either masculine and feminine at the same time, in black and white, or with a streamlined or clear story because women are constantly changing at different times of the day. He also decorated with exquisite details, trinkets and necklaces. Thus, the woman was born Paule Ka: distinctive without exaggeration, attractive without rudeness, happy non-superficial, and keep up with the whims but know what suits her. The mark came as a tribute to the 1950s and 1960s when Grace Kelly and Audrey Hepburn became the throne of beauty and elegance. Paule Ka swept the world of fashion and captured the hearts of its customers by blending vibrant Brazilian colors with elegant Parisian designs.

Audrey Hepburn's basket

Sean Ferrer, the son of actress Audrey Hepburn, whose unique style is still a constant inspiration for Serge Kajfinger, asked the designer in 1995 to ask him to create a group that would honor his mother and send her to Japan. Shawn gave him a picture of the star in a mink coat carrying a simple hand-knitted basket, which was similar to that of Serge Kajffinger's mother in Brazil! The latter hastened to invent a basket similar to his brand. Although this group did not see the light, but the basket has become the hallmarks of the home, and still embodies today to different versions. In 2007, ALD moved its headquarters to 223 San Onore Street Vavtrc the ground floor store, while the workshops were occupied upstairs. Paule Ka is known for its craftsmanship and use of distinctive fabrics in ready-made garments and elegant couture. In 2014, after a decision to change the company's management, Serge Kagfinger left the fashion house to Brazil to pursue his personal projects and his passion for architecture and interior design. Italian designer Alicia Spori-Zambetti became the creative director of the house and maintained the Parisian elegance of her designs.

Another visit to Paris

In 2016, ALDAR again participated in the Paris Fashion Week to impress the attendees with their craftsmanship and extensive experience. The following year, the business owner Xavier Marie, founder and former CEO of Maison du Monde, took over the management of the house and gave Serge Cajffinger a specific task in helping him redesign the essence of the label and prepare the collection for its 30th anniversary. Serge Kajffinger returned to Paule Ka in September 2017 after leaving for three years to oversee the preparation of the groups in collaboration with the creative teams.

«I know Paule Ka's style well. And I seek to integrate the spirit of the era and imagination represented by the house in today's designs, without compromising to satisfy the requirements of customers ». Today, Aldar is experiencing remarkable success. It has branches in 37 countries and is divided into 320 points of sale, 90 of which are in the cities of Dubai, London, New York, Hong Kong and Singapore. Charlotte Wills has moved the image of Carolina Korcova, whose charming smile embodies the spirit of this 30-piece collection, which is perfectly bright, elegant and free. It is the spirit of Paule Ka in every sense.

Serge Kajffinger:

"It is inspired by the era in which I was 30. I see it as a poem seeking love, passion, freedom and joy of life."
