Tomorrow, the Emirates Airline Festival, which will be held in its new session, will hold about 200 sessions over nine days. Through the 2019 Arab Program, the festival offers a group of the most prominent Arab creators of promising and old writers, poets, novelists and children's book authors.
Emirates Film Festival Director Ahlam Beluki said the festival places Arab literature and Arab writers at the forefront of its priorities. "We feel that highlighting Arab writers and their work is a very important step. At the heart of our work, our history is full of wonderful stories. Nothing is more important than allowing the public to reconnect with our culture and to restore the status of stories as the most powerful tool for spreading the values of shared understanding, unity and tolerance." .
The festival will feature some of the most prominent names in the Arab literary scene today, as well as international creators and thinkers, in sessions that include a range of themes and styles, from science fiction and crime to romance, drama, world affairs, self development and others.
