"We went immediately to Dubai Hospital. The doctor gave us medical reports from the American hospital. He decided to start chemotherapy sessions in the hospital. My husband's body responded to the treatment, his condition improved a little, and several months later we were transferred to Tawam Hospital in Al Ain."

"My husband's body responded to chemotherapy and improved for a short time, but the disease returned more strongly, his body no longer responds to any other doses of chemotherapy, and a marrow transplant is needed to save his life," she said.

The wife explained that she had sent his medical reports to a specialized hospital in Lebanon, and that the cost of bone marrow transplant was 300,000 dirhams.

Her husband worked in the private sector for a salary of 4,500 dirhams and was diagnosed with cancer, leaving him to work. He was the sole breadwinner and had no source of income except to help friends and family and her family of four.
