In his youth, Valery Leontyev did not even think about the career of a musician: the future artist dreamed of doing oceanology. Subsequently, he was able to try himself in a number of professions - from the postman and tailor to the laborer at a brick factory. In the 1970s, he gave his debut concert, and several years later took the first award at the All-Union competition in Yalta. Leontyev has 24 studio albums on his account, of which dozens of songs have been placed on the top lines of the music charts more than once. However, the artist became famous not only because of his musical creativity - Leontyev is known for his love to shock the audience. March 19, People's Artist of Russia celebrates its 70th anniversary.
