The Emirates Football Association’s National Teams and Technical Affairs Committee, in its meeting chaired by Youssef Hussein Al Sahlawi, the second vice president of the Federation and Chairman of the Committee, approved the expanded list of the first national team for the next preparation phase that will start from the twenty-second of this month to the twenty-seventh of the same month in Al Ain, where It included 36 players, with the final list to be announced three days before the start of the rally.

The team said: "The team will hold an external camp in one of the European countries that has a suitable health status, where all necessary arrangements will be made with the competent authorities in the country, and the camp will be held for the period from 1 to 23 August next, while two international friendly matches have been approved ( FIFA days) in the gathering that will be held for the period from the first to the ninth of September next in the country, and the national friendly team will face the Jordanian national team on September 4, while the Tajikistan national team will face the second friendly international on September 8.
