The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially addressed civil associations within the African continent to know their decisions regarding the current football season.

In his speech, El Kef called on the civil unions to set the date for the resumption of local competitions in the coming period, after the interruption period that spanned about two months due to the outbreak of the new Corona virus.

The Continental Federation demanded to know the date of the return of football activity in African countries to determine the dates of its competitions in the coming period, especially with the postponement of competitions for the African Championship for local and the African Champions League and the African Union Cup, in addition to postponing the African qualifiers for the African Nations Finals in Cameroon in January 2021, which was scheduled It has a month to be held during the month of March.

It is noteworthy that the Egyptian Football Association had announced earlier the continuation of the suspension of activity, including the League Championship, until mid-May, in line with the government’s decisions that take several measures to protect against the emerging Corona virus.
