Dubai Maritime City Authority has announced the strengthening of the fleet of refueling ships in the Emirate of Dubai, in an advanced step on the path of organizing, facilitating and enhancing maritime activity, and employing promising prospects in light of the competitive advantages of the local maritime pool, which matches the best in the world.

The authority revealed that the number of vessels licensed to supply fuel within the territorial waters of Dubai would increase to 12 ships, in full compliance with the applicable regulations to ensure the highest levels of safety and security of crews of ships and visitors alike.

Engineer Mohamed Ali Al Bastaki, Director of Maritime Docking Operations at Dubai Maritime City, said that the enhancement of the fuel supply fleet represents a qualitative addition to the efforts aimed at providing guarantees for the return of momentum to the local marine sector, especially with the growing activity of the economic movement after the easing of restrictions imposed in Dubai In conjunction with the completion of the national sterilization program.
