Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo has scored 699 goals in his career and is close to breaking the record for the most international players.

The official FIFA account tweeted a video of the goal scored by Ronaldo during Portugal's 3-0 win over Luxembourg on Friday in the Euro 2020 qualifiers.

FIFA has settled the controversy over the number of goals for Don with a comment on the video that the goal holds the number 699, and that Ronaldo raised his tally with his country to 94 goals, and is 15 goals from the record recorded by the former Iranian team's top scorer Ali Daei.
