The incident occurred in May this year. The man was upset that the woman threatened to contact his wife for an infidelity deal and sought her out in Umeå in his car. Once in front, he cranked down the car window and pointed a gun at the woman who threw herself to the ground. The car then left the scene.

The district court now sentenced the 40-year-old to grossly unlawful threats. In addition, he has also kept the gun unlocked in his car and shot with it in the woods. According to the district court, the gun was held in a criminal environment, which means that he must also be convicted of a serious weapon offense.

In addition to this, the man is also convicted of a number of other minor crimes such as carelessness in traffic, doping crimes and gross unlawful driving. The man is now sentenced to two years and six months in prison.

In addition, another man, aged 25, is also convicted of, among other things, firearms offenses after also shooting with the gun in the forest. He is sentenced to one year and six months in prison.
