Next week will bring the inhabitants of the European part of Russia a significant cooling, forecasters warn. According to the forecast published on the Meteovesti portal, the region will cover the North Atlantic cyclone, which will bring Arctic air and rain.

“The temperature background will be 5 ° C lower than the climatic norm and will be 25 days ahead of the calendar - it will correspond to October 15th. Given the rather windy and humid nature of the weather, it feels like the temperature will seem 3-4 ° C lower than the actual values, ”the weather service said.

At the same time, the first half of next week in Moscow will be more comfortable than the second, told Marina Makarova, chief specialist of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia, to RT.

“Tomorrow (Monday, September 16th - RT ), moderate rain is forecasted. Temperature +14 ... + 16 ° C in the afternoon. From the second half of the week it is expected that this hollow can deepen and we will be influenced by cyclones that will draw cold air into the European territory of Russia, ”says the weather forecaster.

The weather for the coming week will also be windy, and closer to the weekend the thermometer columns will go even lower, adds Makarova.

“The temperature will be below normal. Daytime temperatures around +10 ° C in the second half of the week, Friday and Saturday will be cool days. It will rain at night, the night temperature is +2 ... + 7 ° C, and the daytime temperature is about +7 ... + 12 ° C. The coolest weather is expected north of Moscow, ”she concludes.

Also in the capital is expected a "baric saw" - sharp fluctuations in atmospheric pressure, which will negatively affect the well-being of weather-dependent people.

“So, if on Sunday the readings of the barometers are still normal - 745 mm Hg. Art., then on Monday — Tuesday — Wednesday they will be at the very bottom - 733 mm Hg. Art., and by the weekend they will return to normal values again, ”the message of the Meteo-News reports.

Any fluctuations in atmospheric pressure that go beyond seven millimeters per day can greatly affect the well-being of almost any person, says Evgeny Tishkovets, chief specialist at the Phobos Weather Center. For weather-dependent people, this threshold is even lower, the expert notes.

“Weather-dependent people begin to feel (fluctuations. - RT ) after 4 mm per day. This is expressed in jumps in blood pressure - they are felt by hypertensive patients, people suffering from cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases. It’s hard for them, because the air concentration is changing. Arctic cold air is heavier, about 30%, it is more dense. Therefore, the pressure will drop and rise in front of the front, the oxygen content will change: this will cause drowsiness, lethargy, ”RT Tiskovec said.

It is also reported that due to cooling at an altitude of about one and a half kilometers in the capital, mixed precipitation in the form of snow and rain is possible.

“In the sky of the capital region by the weekend in some places the first“ white flies ”may appear along with rain - interspersing a small amount of wet snow in the precipitation, which nevertheless will be exclusively symbolic, insignificant and mosaic in nature and will melt immediately”, add the "Weather News".

Previously, weather forecasters warned of a sharp cooling, which was supposed to come to the capital region in mid-September. Eugene Tishkovets in an interview with RT called September 13 the last day of the meteorological summer of this season.

“Today (September 13th - RT ) is the final day of the Indian summer. We survived two such summers - young and classic, with a week for each. Now, from the north-west a giant cyclone “spider” is approaching us, it has already attacked the northern capital, rather intense rains have taken place in St. Petersburg in the zone of the cold front. Now this armada is slowly but surely shifting towards Central Russia and the capital region. The cold front will reach us on the night of September 14, so the weather will go bad, it will rain, ”said Tiskovec.

However, after September 27, an anticyclone may come to Moscow, bringing with it a third wave of conditional Indian summer. “She is already more modest, we are talking about a maximum of +12 ... + 15 ° C in the afternoon, but this is preliminary,” the specialist concluded.
