Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said that the Palestinian Authority is ready to stop all relations with the Americans and Israelis - including security coordination - if they insist on implementing their plan, reiterating his rejection of the peace plan put forward by US President Donald Trump at the end of last month.

"We reject the American plan, and we will reject it during the meeting of the United Nations Security Council," Abbas said in a speech while presiding over the weekly government meeting in Ramallah.

He added, "There is nothing positive in the deal of the century. We reject it categorically. We do not agree to annexing lands from Israel (Palestinian towns) ... they are our people, but we will not accept them with us ... so that they stay there (in Israel)."

"We are not nihilists, and we say what we want, and the world must understand, and we must understand why we reject (the American plan) because it eliminated international legitimacy," he added.

The Palestinian President called for international sponsorship of negotiations with Israel, adding, "We will not accept the sponsorship of the United States alone for any negotiations."

Cut the relationships
Abbas affirmed that the Palestinian Authority has severed its relations with Israel, and that it continues in its position towards the United States and Israel if they continue with what you are doing.

"We demand 22% of the land of historic Palestine ... The century deal gives us 11% of the land only, without security sovereignty," he said.

The Palestinian President indicated that the Arabs stood by one man against the deal of the century, and the Arab League Council adopted, at the level of foreign ministers, the Palestine Project presented without any amendment.

The Arab foreign ministers announced yesterday, Saturday, their rejection of the American peace plan, and their adherence to the 2002 Arab Peace Initiative as an alternative, warning that Israel might implement this plan by force.

A week ago, US President Donald Trump announced at a news conference in Washington the US peace plan known as the "Deal of the Century", in the presence of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The plan, which was rejected by Turkey and several countries, as well as the Palestinian Authority and all factions of the resistance, includes the establishment of a Palestinian state in the form of an archipelago linked by bridges and tunnels, and to make Jerusalem the undivided capital of Israel.
