The UAE Economic Forum, organized by Dubai Economy, will be held on December 11 and 12, and is the result of cooperation between the Ministry of Economy and all economic circles in the seven emirates.
According to a statement issued today, the forum is expected to receive great attention both domestically and internationally through its new format as a result of the merger of the Emirates Forum for Economic Prospects and the Emirates Economic Planning Forum in one event which will build on their success over six years. The forum will be one of the most prominent annual local economic events to highlight current strategic plans and contribute to shaping the future of economic planning in the short and medium term of the UAE.
The objectives of the Forum were inspired by the UAE Vision 2021, the National Innovation Strategy, the Dubai Health Strategy 2021, the Ajman Vision 2021, the Sharjah Tourism Vision 2021 and the 2030 Agenda, which includes the Economic Vision 2030. Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Environmental Vision 2030, Dubai Industrial Strategy 2030 and Dubai 3D Printing Strategy.

The Minister of Economy, Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, said that the UAE Economic Forum 2019, confirms the UAE's economy continues its positive development process in accordance with the guidance of wise leadership and in line with the UAE Vision 2021, pointing out that the Forum deals with economic initiatives led by the State in recent times, Highlighting the current economic issues and strategic plans adopted by each emirate and the federal government, and their impact on boosting the UAE's GDP during the coming years.
Sami Al Qamzi, Director General of Dubai Economy, said the forum plays a pivotal role in accelerating the implementation of the National Agenda's goals to reach the UAE as one of the most innovative countries in the world by 2021.
He added that the forum is one of the important events that discuss all economic opportunities and aspirations in the presence of the seven economic departments in the country and the Ministry of Economy, in addition to offering workshops that play a major role in the transfer of knowledge, expected to discuss the economic prospects of the UAE in the exchange of experiences, and see the experiences We look forward to coming up with many initiatives that serve the future of business and economists in the UAE and Dubai specifically.
