Prince Harry has arrived in Canada to start a new life with his wife Megan and their son Archie after the duo sparked a crisis in the British royal family by announcing this month's surprising abandonment of their royal duties.
Sky News television showed footage of Harry arriving on Vancouver Island days after an agreement with Queen Elizabeth and senior royal family members, in which he and his wife, Megan, relinquished their official duties in pursuit of a future independent life. Buckingham Palace and the Queen announced last Saturday that Harry and Meghan were no longer two active members of the royal family, and would not use their royal surnames, and would make their way to life independently, allowing them to start a new career in Canada and the United States.
Harry and Megan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, spent six weeks in Canada at the end of last year before returning to Britain.
Megan returned to Canada on January 10.
