The famous 52-year-old Belgian fashion designer spent at Jil Sander, Dior then Calvin Klein in addition to having created his own brand, Raf by Raf, will therefore work in close collaboration with Miuccia Prada on the collections and all the creative processes of the brand. Their first joint collection will be unveiled in September during the next Milan fashion week of spring / summer 2021 fashion shows.
A historic first
The news was announced by surprise on the fifth day of Milan fashion week. "It is the first time in fashion history that two such important and important designers will work together," said Patrizio Bertelli, husband of Miuccia Prada and owner of the brand, at a press conference convened at the last moment.
