- Our ambition is that all students, in one way or another, should be able to come back to school before the summer, says Solberg.

In addition, industry standards will be established so that, for example, psychologists, physiotherapists, chiropractors and other health care groups can start resuming their activities from the earliest on April 20.

The same applies to professional groups where close contact occurs, such as hairdressers and masseurs. These should be able to open again with new guidelines from 27 April. The cabin ban - the ban on visiting vacation homes - is repealed on April 20.

"Can't lower garden"

- The new analyzes provide grounds for cautious optimism. We can see that the contagion curve has flattened out and that the contagion measures are working, but this is just a snapshot. I must strongly emphasize that we cannot lower the garden, ”says Solberg.

- If we fail, we must tighten again. We must continue to keep our distance, wash our hands as often, cough in the elbow and take hygiene and infection prevention measures seriously. Everyone experiencing symptoms should stay at home, and the quarantine and isolation rules should continue to be respected.

The infection is under control

The message from the Norwegian Prime Minister is in line with the gradual reopening of Denmark, which the Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen presented during a press conference yesterday.

Norway has so far 5,866 confirmed cases of infection and 78 deaths - Sweden's death toll is 591.

On Monday, the Norwegian Minister of Health Bent Høie announced that, on average, every person with corona infection now infects 0.7 people, and that the corona infection is therefore under control in the country.
