His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, directed the Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development, to allocate $ 200 million to support medium and small economic projects in the friendly Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

The initiative aims to foster innovation in projects and support entrepreneurship along with enabling a series of entrepreneurial projects to contribute to strengthening Pakistani government efforts aimed at creating a stable and balanced national economic environment that contributes to the sustainable development of the country in its various fields.

It also comes in the context of the depth of relations and friendship between the United Arab Emirates and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and the leaderships of the two countries are keen to strengthen and develop them, which is reflected in the broad development witnessed between the two countries during the past decades at various levels.

The initiative of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to provide support for economic projects came on the sidelines of his visit to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
