Dubai Municipality has decided to continue providing veterinary therapeutic services, after it issued a circular published on its pages on the sites of Instagram, Twitter and Facebook, informing the public to stop all treatment services provided, and confined to private clinics.

The municipality said in a circular issued today that it will modify the working hours at the Al Khawaneej Veterinary Clinic from 4 January next, and the dates of pets will be from Saturday to Thursday from 7:30 am to 2 pm, and farm animals from 7:30 am to 2 pm 7:30 pm, with all clinic services still being provided and no change in any of the clinic services.

Residents in Dubai had asked the municipality to review the decision to stop veterinary treatment services, in order to prevent the increase in the number of animals left on the street, given the high cost of treatment in private clinics.
