THE ESSENTIAL

THE ESSENTIAL

  • The pandemic has killed at least 68,125 people worldwide since its appearance in December in China, for nearly 1,245,000 cases identified, according to a report prepared by Agence France Presse on April 5.
  • Prime Minister Boris Johnson was hospitalized in London on Sunday evening as a "precautionary measure", ten days after being tested positive for Covid-19.
  • In France, the derogatory travel certificate will be available this morning at 8 am in digital version.
  • The balance sheet of the epidemic now exceeds 8,000 deaths in France and, if the rate of deaths and hospitalizations in intensive care seems to slow, vigilance remains essential on the respect of confinement.

7:36 am: The certificate of derogatory trips arrives (finally) on our phones

After weeks of waiting and questioning, the Interior Ministry will put a link on its site online at 8 a.m. to directly generate on its mobile phone a downloadable form in PDF format in order to present it to the forces of order through a QR code.

🔴🇫🇷 #CORONAVIRUS | From April 6, the derogatory travel certificate may be generated in digital format.

Minister Christophe Castaner clarified that this new device will protect against the risk of fraud: “You will have to specify your exit time, but the time at which you edited the document will be accessible to the police. This will prevent people from completing the certificate only at the sight of a police check. And thanks to the QR code, the police and gendarmes will not need to pick up the phone, they will just have to scan the screen. ”
