Chronicler of Russian television: Leonid Parfyonov - 60

On January 26, the 60th anniversary is celebrated by Russian journalist, TV presenter and writer Leonid Parfyonov. He began his career as a junior in the newspaper Pionerskaya Pravda. After graduating from the journalism department of Leningrad State University, Parfyonov worked for some time in the regional media, and then became a special correspondent for the youth editorial staff of Central Television. He collaborated with such channels as ATV, ORT and NTV, and became famous thanks to the author’s program “The Day Before”. Among other well-known projects of the journalist are the cycle “Russian Empire”, the documentary “Color of the Nation” and the New Year's show “Old Songs about the Main”. Today Leonid Parfyonov is working on a series of books on the history of Russia and has his own YouTube channel.
