  • Investigation: The violations reported by three American sisters in Murcia occurred in two homes
  • Statements: The judge sees "inconsistencies" and "contradictions" in the statements of the three US sisters allegedly violated

The lawyer of the three young Afghans whom three American sisters have accused of sexually assaulting them on New Year 's Eve in Murcia announced yesterday that he will file the case and that he will take legal action against the Americans for false accusation. The complaint announced by the lawyer Melecio Castaño comes after it transpired that the National Police, during the investigation of the case, has discovered that the young women, 18, 20 and 23 years, and natives of Ohio , had signed an insurance policy for which would be compensated with about 50,000 euros in case of suffering a sexual assault.

Young Afghans, 20, 21 and 25, were arrested on January 2 and released after giving testimony before the judge two days later. In this view, the Fiscal Ministry, according to the documentation to which EL MUNDO has had access, detailed the "gaps and contradictions" in the story of the young women and stressed that they had left Spain without giving a statement.

According to the story of the young women referred to by the Prosecutor's Office, the aggression began in a pub in the city, where they were taken to a dark area clutched by the arm and pushed. There, they said, they were kissed without their consent while one of them suffered touch on the chest and the vagina. Afterwards, however, the six left the pub together. The younger sister, who lived in Murcia, went home with one of the young men, and the other two, to the floor of the other two defendants.

Housing where the event occurred.

In addition, after suffering the alleged attacks in different homes, the complainants and the three young people were again all together on the floor of the younger sister “without any trying to ask for help of some kind, either by calling the neighbors, or by phone call, ”said the Prosecutor’s Office . "After all the incidents reported," he said, "the three victims were escorted to the bus station by the three aggressors, without either requesting help or help."

One of them reported that, while at the station, one of them tried to force her to give him a kiss, but the cameras show that they say goodbye "with a kiss or hug" and that "a cordial accompaniment" is observed. In favor of the young women, however, there were forensic examinations, which appreciated injuries compatible with the facts reported in the case of two of the three.

«That the three sisters suffer a sexual assault, go up to the floor with their aggressors without any evidence of violence or forcing, that nothing is said between them, that they do not try to flee or that they do not ask for the slightest help, and then leave accompanying by the aggressors until they say goodbye in the bus station amicably the less necessary of a greater explanation by the victim witnesses that cannot be obtained in the court of guard by voluntary absence of the same; without forgetting the presumption of innocence that protects all investigated, ”concluded the prosecutor.

To all this is added the testimony of the people who were inside the two houses where the events are located, which were shared apartments. In one of them there were two people in the next room, who "heard nothing but laughter from the complainants." "The same is true in the other house where the neighboring witness on the next floor reports that the only thing she seems to hear is a snore," the defense said in the same hearing.
