The second edition of the “Living” World Sports March, one of the initiatives of the Friends of Cancer Patients Society, which includes 3000 people and 200 volunteers from different nationalities, kicked off yesterday morning with the aim of supporting cancer patients morally and financially, during events that promote hope and life for 24 hours. In a speech during the opening of the event, the President of the Board of Directors, Sawsan Jaafar, that «the march that gathered around a large crowd, is one of the promising steps towards fighting a disease that changes the lives of those who are affected and those around him in radical ways», explaining that the attendance of participants and volunteers And partners give hope to fight cancer.

"Everyone in this process is a symbol of hope for a healthier future for all," she said. “This year's march has been expanded to include a full range of activities. The contribution of participants will have a major impact on the lives of people with cancer in the UAE, by monitoring the costs of treatment and spreading awareness by sharing experiences of those who have experienced these conditions. “Cancer prevention, treatment and coexistence will be used to support the efforts of friends of cancer patients to support patients and their families in the UAE.”
