Deputy Secretary-General Zeng Zhong of the China-ASEAN Expo Secretariat focused on the overview of the Expo.
He said that the expo is co-organized by the governments of China and ASEAN countries and is open to the world. It is held in Nanning every year. It is a national and international economic and trade event with high level of organization, practical economic and trade results, and distinctive brand characteristics.
The expo also invites representatives from international organizations such as the World Trade Organization and the United Nations International Trade Center to participate in the expo to promote cooperation between China and ASEAN as a regional whole and other economies including Germany and the European Union.
