The number of foreign trade companies with actual performance exceeded 11,000, an increase of more than 10%.
Zhengzhou Customs statistics show that the United States, ASEAN, the European Union, South Korea, and Taiwan are still Henan's main trading partners.
In Henan's foreign trade, imports and exports to countries co-building the "Belt and Road" exceeded 356.7 billion yuan, and the proportion of imports and exports to member states of the "Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement" (RCEP) increased to more than 30%.
Henan's new foreign trade momentum - the "three new items" of electric vehicles, lithium batteries and solar cells, totaled nearly 7.7 billion yuan in exports, an increase of more than 20%.
As a major agricultural province, Henan's agricultural import and export performance will be outstanding in 2023.
Zhengzhou Customs said that among the main export commodities, automobiles, human hair products and agricultural products have grown rapidly and will be the main highlights of foreign trade exports in 2023.
In 2023, Henan's exports of mechanical and electrical products exceeded 342.7 billion yuan, accounting for more than 60% of the province's export value, of which automobiles exceeded 25.8 billion yuan, more than doubling.
Exports of human hair products reached nearly 20 billion yuan, an increase of nearly 20%.
The export of agricultural products reached nearly 19.2 billion yuan, an increase of nearly 10%.
Among the main imported commodities, metal ores and agricultural products increased significantly.
In 2023, Henan's imported mechanical and electrical products will exceed 170 billion yuan, accounting for more than 60% of the province's import value.
Imported metal ore reached nearly 54 billion yuan, an increase of more than 20%.
Imported agricultural products exceeded 12.1 billion yuan, an increase of nearly 20%.
