Laiyang pear, commonly known as Laiyang pear, has been cultivated for more than 400 years, and has been listed as a royal tribute and national gift, and is well-known at home and abroad. Zhaowangzhuang Town, the core production area of Laiyang pear, has helped farmers increase their income through the construction of standardized pear orchards and the development of deep processing industries in recent years.

"Most of the pear paste on the market is canned and not easy to store, so we have improved the pear paste into small packages that are easy to carry and drink. Wang Qiaoqi, general manager of Yantai Aitaozhang Food Co., Ltd., said that once the "portable" pear paste came out, it was welcomed by the market and the sales of the product increased significantly.

After graduation, he decided to build a factory in the village to start a business, introduced advanced production lines for deep processing, and developed and produced pear paste, pear paste lollipops, pear paste pulp gummies and other products, the current annual sales of the company reached more than 3000,<> yuan, and drove many villagers to engage in product packaging, logistics and transportation.

In order to better develop the pear deep processing industry in Laiyang, Dataozhang Village adopted the "village joint enterprise" group development model and established the Jiaque Baiguoyuan Agricultural Professional Cooperative, introducing green ecological planting technology to provide sufficient and safe raw materials for industrial production.

After the pear paste and other products were recognized by the market, the village processed local specialty fruits such as hawthorn and mulberry to produce new products such as hawthorn sticks and mulberry paste, which were favored. At present, the food enterprises in the village have developed more than 30 related product categories and established cooperative relations with nearly <> well-known brands.

Laiyang City is the "Chinese Pear Township", in addition to the main production of Laiyang pear, it also has Qiuyue pear, golden pear, Fengshui pear, new high pear, Western pear and other varieties, with a planting area of 7,1 acres.
