First there was the ANPE, then Pôle Emploi in 2008. From now on, it will have to be called France Travail. It is from this Monday that Pôle emploi takes this new name. A symbolic change that marks the beginning of a long series of transformations starting this Monday.

A new rule comes into effect as of Monday morning: the obligation for companies to report two refusals of permanent contracts in one year. To be more precise, if an employee in the private sector at the end of a fixed-term contract or temporary contract refuses a credit offer twice in the space of a year, he will no longer be able to receive unemployment benefits. The proposal will have to be for the same job, in the same place, for the same length of time and with at least equivalent pay.

Measures will come into force in 2024

Another new feature is an employment network that includes local missions, contact for disabled workers and services of the State and local authorities. Other new measures are due to come into force at a later date.

This is the case for the mandatory 15 hours of activity per week for RSA beneficiaries, starting next year. The latter will also be automatically registered with France Travail, while less than one in two was registered with Pôle emploi.
