The Spanish Agency for Food Safety and Nutrition (Aesan) is verifying the recall of cocoa cookies referring to the cartoon series of The Paw Patrol, Nickelodeon, because the labeling in Spanish does not report the presence of traces of milk and soy.

The alert, notified by the Community of Madrid to Aesan, is aimed at people with allergy and intolerance to milk and soy and affects all batches in plastic bag of 150 grams and room temperature in which the possible presence of the two allergens is not indicated on the labeling in Spanish.

The manufacturer has changed the label and the mislabeled product, which comes from Poland, is being recalled, but products with the old label may still be on the market or in the hands of consumers, according to the Aesan statement.

The Agency has recalled that allergy sufferers who may have this product at home refrain from consuming it while its intake does not pose any risk to the rest of the population.

According to the information available, the initial distribution has been to the autonomous communities of Andalusia, the Canary Islands, Catalonia, the Basque Country, Extremadura, Galicia and Murcia, although it is not ruled out that there may be redistributions to other autonomous communities.
