The entrepreneur's passion, Rashid Fahad Mohammed, for technology and learning has led him to follow many technical publications on an ongoing basis, and to take an interest in managing websites and associated technologies, as he has great experience in this field that includes cloud applications.
Rashid told "Emirates Today" that he started his "The Menu" project as a technical commercial activity affiliated with the information technology activity in the "Dealer License" issued by Dubai Economy.
He explained that the activity includes specialized projects in the field of developing website page designs related to electronic services, regardless of their nature and function, which use the Internet as an infrastructure.

Rashid indicated that “The Menu for Smart Food Menus is a licensed electronic platform that aims to convert food menus for restaurants, cafes and mobile food carts into digital menus linked to (QR barcodes), in support of efforts to prevent the (Corona) pandemic, and to enhance the separation. Physical, and take advantage of the infrastructure provided by the state in the field of advanced technologies ».
He added that the technologies provided by the project enable consumers to browse the menu through the screen of a smartphone or tablet device, by scanning the "barcode" to show them the food menu arranged in sections, pictures and prices, indicating that every restaurant gets a special account in "The Menu." For smart menus, for the restaurant manager to manage it through an easy control panel that has options capable of meeting the multiple needs of the project.

Rashid added that the control and information panel was able to view a comprehensive summary of the restaurant, such as the number of people who visited the menu, the number of menu contents, and various other options.
He pointed out that the owner of the restaurant can modify his restaurant data, such as the project logo, name, description, address, phone number, as well as control the social media accounts of his project and link it to the menu, where the restaurant can add categories, products, supported by pictures, description and prices.
He stated that the price and product name can also be changed at any time without restrictions, as well as new products can be deleted and added without the need for previous experience, pointing out that the project’s website contains the QR Builder barcode design feature, as it can choose the shape that suits it. Regarding the idea of the project, Rashid explained, it came when a friend asked to help him create a digital menu for him, while adhering to the preventive measures taken by the state in combating the Corona pandemic, as he developed several solutions to “digitize” the food menu, and all of these were Ideas are the first building block for launching the "The Menu for smart menus" project.
He added that after dedication and careful research on the best practices in this field, the idea of "The Menu for Smart Food Menus" came as the first Emirati project to provide digital and smart menus, based on advanced software in record time and at a relatively low cost.

Muhammad stated that the unique product development strategy, which is called the minimum product, was followed by providing a product that provides a service that has sufficient features to satisfy the first customers, and to benefit from observations in developing the product in the future, indicating that the projects that follow this method are characterized by a quick start with the least The cost of establishment and basic features that help it survive, but it is sufficient to attract consumers' attention, and make it adaptable to change and development easily through the continuous development of the product permanently.

Regarding the “dealer license”, Rashid Muhammad said: “I heard about the license through successful marketing campaigns to promote it, as this is evident through the use of social media in an ideal way to reach the target group, in addition to the good reputation, good treatment and attention by officials in the economy Dubai helped raise the level of customer satisfaction, and this had a clear effect on strengthening (a dealer license) in the emirate.
He emphasized that a "dealer license" helped him increase credibility and customer confidence, as well as preserving the rights of all parties. It also facilitated the process of promoting the project in the easily available platforms, as well as facilitating procedures for obtaining permits for electronic payment gates from international platforms, in addition to obtaining A bank account for the project without any obstacles or additional requirements.
