[Explanation] According to reports, due to the prevention and control of the epidemic, the citizens are encouraged to spend the New Year in Beijing and do not leave Beijing unless necessary. The transportation department predicts that the passenger traffic of railways and civil aviation will reach 13.42 million in and out of Beijing during the Spring Festival in 2021, compared with 2020. A decrease of 43% and a decrease of 69% from 2019.

In terms of specific passenger flow, it is estimated that the total passenger flow in and out of Beijing this year will be about 13.4 million, of which about 10 million by railway, and about 3.4 million for civil aviation, Capital Airport and Daxing Airport, which is the same as in previous years. It should be said that it is a significant drop.
[Explanation] Although the passenger flow is declining, there will still be a small peak in passenger flow two or three days before the holiday, the sixth and seventh days of the first lunar month after the holiday, and two or three days after the fifteenth of the first lunar month.
The relevant person in charge said that the Beijing transportation department will coordinate and strengthen passenger flow monitoring, strengthen passenger transportation organization, and minimize the crowds of adults.
Among them, the railway department optimizes the flow of entry and exit, getting on and off, waiting for ticket inspection, etc., to ensure that the departure and end punctuality rate of passenger cars is more than 95%; civil aviation pays attention to the demand of routes, reasonably allocates capacity, and organizes airport bus passenger transportation; The frequency of line sales reduces the number of people queuing to buy tickets.

According to forecasts, ground public transport will reach 202 million passengers, an increase of 36% compared to 2020, and rail transit will reach 276 million passengers, an increase of 78% compared with 2020.
