Close a famous hotel in France

The famous and luxurious "Negresco" Hotel in Nice, southeast of France, has closed its doors "until further notice" as a result of the new closure measures decided by the French government to combat the "Covid-19" epidemic.

"We have closed since Sunday, and we have not set a date for the reopening," said the "5-star" hotel, which includes 128 rooms and suites, and is one of the most famous in Nice on the Cote d'Azur coast.

The closing procedures do not include hotels. However, the "Negresco" hotel, which was booked at 80% in August, decreased reservations to 30% in October.

The hotel management explained on its website: "We hope to reopen the hotel doors as soon as possible. Waiting for that, we hope you will take care of yourselves."

The hotel is sometimes called the "Eiffel Tower of Paris", and it is a monumental building since 2003 due to the beauty of its façade, its pink and green dome, and the splendor of the main lobby with its tall columns.
