Jaguar E-Pace -

DR

From the outside, the 2020 Jaguar E-Pace can be recognized by the new light signature of the front lights, in "double J".

But above all, the British manufacturer has decided to pamper the occupants with particular attention to detail: the large 11.4-inch HD touchscreen with curved glass, which controls the new Pivi Pro infotainment system, has been chemically reinforced with two layers, one anti-reflective, and the other resistant to fingerprints.

Everything the driver touches around the instrument cluster is now trimmed in soft-touch materials, while the knee contact area has been sculpted to provide enhanced luxury and comfort.

Hybridization

On the technical side, we note the arrival of a plug-in hybrid version P300e which combines a 3-cylinder 1.5-liter petrol engine of 200 hp with an electric motor of 109 hp integrated on the rear axle.

This version allows the E-Pace to travel 55 km in zero emission mode.

The new generation 2.0-liter 4-cylinder diesel engines, the new 1.5-liter 3-cylinder gasoline engine and the very latest 2.0-liter 4-cylinder gasoline engine are equipped with MHEV (mild hybridization) technology which, in addition to reducing fuel consumption, provides a little electric boost with each acceleration.

And finally, the 4x4 models with automatic gearbox allow the disconnection of the all-wheel drive - depending on the conditions - to reduce consumption.

The new Jaguar E-Pace is available in France from € 39,000.
