At the meeting, Huang Libin, spokesperson of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and director of the Operation Monitoring and Coordination Bureau, introduced that in the first three quarters, the national industrial added value above designated size increased by 1.2% year-on-year, and the main indicators of industrial production rose steadily.

In the first three quarters, the value added of the industrial enterprises above designated size increased by 1.2% year-on-year, of which the first quarter fell by 8.4%, the second and third quarters increased by 4.4% and 5.8% respectively. The industrial growth rate steadily rebounded, showing a good momentum of continuous and steady recovery.
[Explanation] Huang Libin said that the current industrial production has basically returned to the right track, while the information and communication industry is operating steadily and improving, and 5G networks and terminal commercials are developing rapidly.

Calculated at the constant price of the previous year, the total volume of telecommunications services in the first three quarters increased by 18.6% year-on-year, and investment in fixed assets increased by 16.5% year-on-year, of which 5G investment accounted for 38.2%.
As of the end of September, a total of 690,000 5G base stations have been built.

From January to September, we checked, and the number of terminals shipped exceeded 100 million, about 108 million.
There are now 160 million terminals connected to the (5G) network.
