The dream chaser in the countryside has the power to refuse to admit defeat——Three struggle stories on the rural well-off road in Hubei

  [Towards our well-off life]

Guangming Daily reporter Chen Haibo Zhang Rui Xia Jing

On the way to a well-off society, many touching and exciting stories happened.

During the interview in Hubei, the reporter encountered many dream chasers and their struggle stories: some people dig wells through rocks, in order to let everyone drink a clean and sanitary water; some people are physically disabled and have a strong spirit and are the "leaders of poverty alleviation in the village." Sheep”; some people return to their hometowns to start businesses, plug traditional craftsmanship with the wings of the Internet, and lead the villagers out of poverty and increase their income... Behind these stories is the improvement of rural basic conditions, the return of talents, and the burst of vitality.

The dream chasers in the country rushed towards the life they yearned for with a force of reluctance to admit defeat.

"Never stop if you don't hit the groundwater"

"Zhaojiashan on the bluestone slab has been dry for nine years in ten years; rain on the eaves is as expensive as oil, and dew can wash your face; the crops are not full of seeds and sticky, and the sun is shining, and the seedlings wilt." Standing next to the standardized water plant, Bao Zhao Xianghua, the party secretary of Zhaojiashan Village, Maliang Township, Kang County, said that the villagers’ ancestors have suffered from water problems.

Zhaojiashan Village is more than 1,000 meters above sea level and belongs to a typical karst mountainous area. Because surface water is difficult to preserve, the "draft" has always plagued the villagers.

In the past, the draught can be divided into five categories: relying on the rain to catch water for food, ten miles away for food, digging a nest on the spot to store water for food, going deep into sinkholes to catch water for food, and waiting for the government to send water for food.

At that time, the villagers held ceremonies and ceremonies, and water was a favor.

Safe drinking water in rural areas is one of the core indicators of "two no worries, three guarantees". The leadership team of Baokang County is determined to solve the drinking water problem for the people on the karst landscape.

On October 8, 2016, the engineering team entered the village and started drilling.

When I drilled more than 180 meters underground, I encountered a karst cave, and the mechanical drill bit got stuck and could no longer drill the well.

Some people say, forget it, the destiny of karst landforms lacking water cannot be changed.

"You will never stop if you don't shoot the groundwater." Zhao Xianghua, together with the village branch and the two committees, vowed to solve the draught problem for thousands of years in the hands of his generation.

After inviting geological experts to use nuclear magnetic detection technology to find a new spot, on April 2, 2017, the village began to drill a second well.

When it hit 483 meters, the strands of clear spring gushed out from the ground.

"I finally have an explanation to the people in the village." Zhao Xianghua said.

Zhaojiashan Village is therefore known as the first village for taking water from deep wells in karst landforms in Hubei.

Nowadays, Baokang County uses water supply in the town area, centralized water supply in Lika Village, and digging wells in karst areas to help 83,000 poor people drink sanitary water and enjoy blessed water.

After the water shackles were broken, the local characteristic planting industry and other industries developed rapidly and showed great vitality.

"Developing aquaculture in rural areas is no worse than working outside"

"Watching goats bouncing and grazing leisurely, watching the lambs grow fat and strong every day is my happiest thing." Tang Gengen was on a meadow in Xiaochang Village, Zougang Town, Xiaochang County. Stroking the "broken horn" goat said shyly.

Tang Gengen, 28, is only 1.4 meters tall due to a second-degree congenital disability.

Now, as the chairman of the Xiaochang Root Planting and Breeding Cooperative, he not only raises goats to get rid of poverty, but also teaches technology to other poor households free of charge, provides pregnant ewes, and underwrites mutton, which has become a driving force for the surrounding poor households to get rid of poverty. Head sheep".

However, 4 years ago, he was very sleepy and depressed.

Tang Gengen finally graduated from university in 2016 after experiencing hardships that people often cannot appreciate.

But because of physical reasons, I bumped into walls when I went out to apply for a job.

"You are a college student, with strong learning ability, a flexible mind, and raising sheep at home, why not delve into raising sheep?" The poverty alleviation team members in the village encouraged him.

Thinking back to the past, Tang Gengen made up his mind: Why must he go to the city for development?

Why can't you start a career down-to-earth in your hometown?

So he immersed himself in searching for information, continuously optimizing feeding, epidemic prevention and management methods, which greatly increased the survival rate of lambs.

Sometimes, he would feed seventy to eighty lambs in one night.

God rewards hard work, his goats have grown from more than 40 to more than 600.

"Sili and the eight townships know that there are sheep here in Gengen, and his family's skills in raising sheep are excellent, and they can underwrite them. I just came to learn and follow him to raise sheep, without any worries." Xiong Zhichang, a villager in Fangji Village, Zougang Town Told reporters.

"Developing aquaculture in the countryside is no worse than working outside." In Tang Gengen's view, simply raising sheep is not enough in the future. It is necessary to develop farming and breeding together and find a deep integration point between agriculture and tourism, so as to help more villagers increase their income.

"Internet + Qiai, we must be a brand"

In Liubang Village, Caohe Town, Qichun County, the wormwood is numbered with borders, and the fragrance is floating everywhere.

Over the wormwood, a stronger aroma of wormwood floated out of a workshop.

When they came closer, several folks were picking branches, beating wormwood leaves, sifting wormwood, and making wormwood sticks.

"What we are doing now is the ancient method of hand-made moxa sticks, letting Qi Ai return to tradition." Chen Zhixiang, the owner of the factory, told reporters.

Moxibustion has a history of more than two thousand years in China. Wormwood is one of the "four treasures" that Qichun people are proud of.

Li Shizhen wrote in the "Compendium of Materia Medica": "Since Chenghua, Qizhou has been the winner, and the world is the most important thing. Qichun is called "Chinese Aidu". .

However, as a Qichun native, Chen Zhixiang has only really realized this "treasure" in recent years.

This young post-80s often spends time with wormwood in the fields, and his face is tanned.

This makes it hard for everyone to imagine that he was a senior Internet practitioner in Shenzhen a few years ago.

In 2014, Chen Zhixiang left Shenzhen and returned to his hometown to establish Hubei Aishifu Technology Co., Ltd., to build a Qi Ai Handicraft Industrial Park, and make moxibustion products using ancient methods.

"A high-quality hand-made moxa stick requires tens of thousands of beats and a thousand screenings, and the moxa made in this way is worthy of the signature of'China Aidu'." He said.

Chen Zhixiang left the Internet industry, but brought Internet thinking back to his hometown.

He built Qiai's network platform, sent employees to train e-commerce knowledge, opened online stores, and made live broadcasts, and promoted Qiai to the vast Internet world.

"Internet + Qiai, we want to be a brand." He is quite confident, and the company's online sales account for 70%.

He has a bigger dream. Not only does he want to be the Daqi Ai brand and polish up the brand of "China Aidu", he also wants to bring his fellow villagers to develop together.

By renting the land of poor households, hiring poor households to work in the company, and purchasing moxa grown by poor households, the company has achieved precise docking with 25 poor households.

Driven by him, Liubang Village has formed a road of industrial poverty alleviation focusing on the cultivation, production and processing of Ai Ai.

Chen Zhixiang, who returned to his hometown to start a business, was fortunate and proud of his choice.

"I hope every family has Ai Ai, everyone is healthy." This is his dream.
