The Dubai Airport Free Zone Authority (DAFZA) announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding with the Federation of Israeli Chambers of Commerce to define the frameworks for bilateral cooperation between the two sides in the field of encouraging and supporting companies in establishing their businesses, and benefiting from the commercial and investment opportunities provided by the UAE and Dubai, during a virtual ceremony. It was held remotely, in the presence of the Director General of the Dubai Airport Free Zone Authority, Dr. Muhammad Al Zarouni, and the President of the Israeli Federation of Israeli Chambers of Commerce, Yorel Lin.
Through the memorandum, DAFZA will promote the Emirate of Dubai as a global trade center and a vital business environment for Israeli companies, with the aim of introducing them to the nature of business and investment opportunities that they can benefit from through a number of events that will be organized in cooperation with the Federation of Israeli Chambers of Commerce, such as seminars remotely. And virtual tours to learn about the mechanism of company registration in the Dubai Airport Free Zone and other aspects that companies and institutions need during the incorporation period.

In addition, the two parties will cooperate in the field of exchanging information and experiences to achieve common goals, in a way that contributes to familiarizing the companies of the two countries with the vital business environment for establishing and developing their business, in addition to promoting the services and facilities provided by DAFZA and the Federation of Israeli Chambers of Commerce, as well as cooperation in terms of joint promotion during Trade missions.
Dr. Mohammed Al-Zarouni stressed, “This agreement reinforces the commitment of (DAFZA) as an essential tributary to the growth of the economy of the UAE in general and the Emirate of Dubai in particular, given its position as a global destination for business growth and prosperity, and a vital engine for the economy of the emirate of Dubai, in line with the strategic objectives of the emirate. Dubai aims to enhance the contribution of non-oil sectors to the emirate’s GDP.
